Synopsis via Goodreads:
Courtney and Josh are in love and excited to finally compete as skating partners. When they take the ice for their first competition, they want to show everyone, especially Josh’s family, they are the perfect pair.
But ice is slippery, and one misstep puts all their dreams in jeopardy. Now they must show each other both their love and their partnership are strong enough to survive.
Personal Thoughts: I loved the first book in the series and I was really looking forward to the next installment. I was not disappointed. We are thrown back into the skating world in this next sequel and Josh and Courtney are now skating partners.  This takes some time to adjust to as they have always had other partners to skate before. This also becomes a challenge since they also have a personal relationship off the ice. The author did a great job showing that it is  not always easy to do both and be completely in harmonic balance.
Josh and Courtney are in love and it shows through the pages as you are reading the story. There is enough romance to see the relationship change but not to much to make it too much and the whole story. Their love proves to be a great bond when there is an accident and they must rise above its challenges.
Overall this was a great sequel to Crossing the Ice and it allowed us to get to know the characters a bit more from the first book. Due to its short length and great plotline, I was able to finish this in one sitting and craving more.

I caressed his cheek and ran my hand down to his chest, stopping on his heart. “I love you, too, and there’s no rush.”
He pulled me close and I rested my head on his shoulder. My lips brushed his neck with a sweet kiss.
“I’ll wait for you as long as you need.”
“I just want you to know…” His soft voice tickled my ear.

I pulled back and framed his face with my hands. “I am so

happy to be doing this with you.”

He smiled. “Then let’s do it.”
